Research Scientist II position is for a scientist with expertise in model analyses of terrestrial biogeochemical processes, plant dynamics, and interactions with climate. The successful candidate will be located in Berkeley, California at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), but will work closely with project members at the Earth Systems Research Center at the University of New Hampshire and others in our ongoing multi-institution and multi-disciplinary project (called isoGenie). The isoGenie project focuses on the carbon cycle in thawing permafrost peatlands, related plant and microbial processes, and climate feedbacks.
